First battery-powered mini excavator from Wacker Neuson wins SaMoTer Innovation Award

Wacker Neuson's first fully electric, battery-powered EZ17e mini excavator is in no way inferior to fuel-powered mini excavators in terms of performance and handling. For this innovative development, the jury of the SaMoTer Innovation Award 2020 presented the EZ17e electric mini-excavator with the Innovation Award in the hydraulic mini-excavator category.

With emission-free machines such as the EZ17e, Wacker Neuson is reinforcing its innovation leadership in this segment. In Verona, the EZ17e mini-excavator won the SaMoTer Innovation Award 2020. It received the award in the hydraulic mini-excavator category for its efficiency, optimum integration of the electric drive and performance equivalent to that of the diesel-powered model, among other things. The excavator will be the highlight product at Wacker Neuson's stand C11-C12 at the SaMoTer trade fair, which will be held in Verona from March 21 to 25. "We look forward to presenting our wide range of zero-emission products to visitors to the fair, including the all-electric EZ17e mini excavator, which won the SaMoTer Innovation Award at the fair," says Georg Jung, Managing Director of Wacker Neuson Italy. "Even today, an entire inner-city construction site can be operated with Wacker Neuson's zero-emission solutions. Translated with (free version)
